Vivo Y200 Launch: Chinese smartphone brand Vivo is set to launch another affordable Y series handset in India this month. The company is ready to introduce the new Vivo Y200 5G smartphone in the country on October 23 at 12:00 PM during an online event.
“Dive into the future with the all-new vivo Y200 5G: where innovation meets style! Launching on 23rd October,” Vivo India wrote on micro-blogging platform X (previously known as Twitter). The smartphone manufacturer has also created a dedicated microsite for the upcoming device.
A teaser image of the upcoming Vivo Y200 5G launch reveals that the smartphone will be available in two colour options. The microsite also confirms that the new Y series device will be equipped with an Aura Light feature. The rectangular camera module, housing dual camera units and an LED flash, is situated in the top left corner of the back panel.
According to leaks, the Vivo Y200 5G is expected be priced below Rs 25,000 in India. However, there’s no official word from the company about the pricing and we recommend our readers to wait for the official announcement from Vivo India.
Coming to specifications, multiple reports have suggested that the upcoming Y series device from Vivo will feature a 6.67-inch full-HD+AMOLED display. The display could boast thin bezels and flat edges. The smartphone is expected to arrive with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 chipset. The device said to run on Android 13-based Funtouch OS 13 out of the box.
As per MySmartPrice, The Vivo Y200 5G is likely to come with a 64MP main camera and a 2MP portrait lens. The device is also expected to come with a large 4,800mAh battery with 44W fast charging support.
